I have had a passion of making things work since a young age. Growing up with little to no money left me to fix what had broke or stopped working, while others who were fortunate enough could simply buy new. The gratitude I would get from reviving something and seeing it work again was priceless. As the years passed and I matured, my interest of seeking gratitude has grown to larger scales. Starting my first intern ship as an instrumentation technician and industrial electrician at DuPont before I had graduated high school filled my passion and gratitude. From there I went on to explore many other aspects of the electrical field, including residential, commercial, industrial, and even service work.
After many hard years of service as an electrician I decided to go back to collage for my degree in electrical/computer engineering. I had excepted an offer for a specialty chemical company as an engineer/fix anything electrician, realizing I can’t see my self happy in a large company. The gratitude for my work had only come from myself at this point with my services being an expectation of my accountabilities. If this was the corporate life I’m not sure this was gonna be the life for me. This is when I decided to start my own company doing what I love.
Making people happy by offering my services at a respectable rate. Not only am I rewarded with happy customers, but I’m rewarded with the gratitude of seeing a job completed correctly and in a good working order. Similar to the gratitude I would receive when I used to fix my broken tv, vcr, radio, or lights and receptacles around my house. I will continue to grow Don’t Touch Electric inviting new employees who share my same passion.
